This infuriated hordes of nerds to the point of storming the developer&#8217;s booth. You play as Marla, a bodyguard. gameplay.<\/li>\n<li>I acquired experience completing a game in a multidisciplinary team.<\/li>\n<li>The humor\/art in the game went over well with testers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>What Went Wrong<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The game engine used Torque X 2D which caused major issues particularly concerning asset management.<\/li>\n<li>We had team issues.<\/li>\n<li>We had some major GUI bugs that should have been caught earlier.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>What I Learned<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Never postpone fixing issues &#8211; this increases the risk of them getting overlooked.<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s critical to have a very strong vertical slice.<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s important to team build early and often.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Project Contribution<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Implemented player character, enemies and gameplay mechanics.<\/li>\n<li>Created an enemy generation tool for level designer and iterated on it based on use feedback.<\/li>\n<li>Provided programming support for animation, sound, menus and HUD.<\/li>\n<li>Created and maintained technical design document.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed bugs and provided technical
